Here is your Weekly Round up from the Willenhall Neighbourhood Team
Willenhall North Patrols have been conducted around Willenhall North. Officers have seized a firearm from a address in Willenhall North.
Short Heath Officers have attended a Police surgery at the Queens Lea Community Centre Officers conducted a Police surgery at Willenhall E act as part of Op Sceptre and have spoken to children in relation to knife crime. Walsall council and Willenhall Officers completed a Parking operation at Willenhall E act; 1 fine was issued. Another Parking operation occurred at Short Heath Primary School. Officers attended Pool Hayes to speak to the students about knife crime as part of Op Sceptre
Willenhall South Patrols of McDonalds have resumed following reports of youths committing Anti-social Behaviour at the location. Patrols of western avenue have continued officers have also completed a Knife sweep of the Bentley West Park. No knifes were found but reports of ASB have continued. Officers have conducted Patrols of the town to tackle ASB, no issues of ASB has been raised, A knife sweep was also conducted in the Willenhall Memorial Park. No knifes were found. Officers have also attended a Street Watch Group. They have not raised any issues. Officers attended the Warm Space Meeting at St Giles Church. Police surgery at St Thomas More As part of Op Sceptre to speak to the children about knife crime. Officers assisted firefighters after a moped caught fire. Officers assisted to keep the area safe and cordon the area 1 car has been seized for no insurance.
1 Male has been arrested for 18 counts of thefts from shops/stalls. 1 Male arrested for domestic violence related offence 1 Male has been arrested for Drug cultivation, and the drugs have since been seized and destroyed by officers. 29 Canisters of Nitrous Oxide has been seized and destroyed by Willenhall Officers. 1 Male arrested for Assault.
